Yes, this GiGi siting could almost be reason to celebrate. Perhaps we can celebrate with something like a vanilla cake with cashew chocolate marshmallow frosting and a raspberry jam middle.

Well, this is a red letter day! A Gigi sighting and a tantalizing cake! I don't know which one to be happier about...
ReplyDeleteWell thank you, Cadry. um GiGi would be happy to hear about that.
ReplyDeleteThat cake looks so good! I definitely want to make marshmallow frosting!
ReplyDeletewhy, GiGi would thank you if she were here.
ReplyDeleteThat frosting looks super! So....if she has been seen, did the vigil still happen? Or did the vigil attract GiGi?
ReplyDeleteGood question, Amanda. The vigil still happened.
DeleteWow Gigi, I wish I have stopped by your blog earlier. I'm literally drooling at your cake right now! I know I have to try some Ricemellow, is it really good?!
ReplyDeleteWhy thank you, VM. Ricemellow is highly recommended.
ReplyDeleteA sighting? And you leave us hanging at that? Where's the grand entry? And the long story of her adventure while she was away?
ReplyDeleteWe all want to know where GiGi has been all this time! The curiousity is killing me. Gimme a large piece of that droolalicious cake so I can stuff my face and distract myself for a while. Mmnomnomnom
It's coming but did she see her, I mean that was hopeful right?
ReplyDeleteI mean, you sighted her too, didn't you.
DeleteI saw someone ambling around but I'm not sure if that was GiGi. GiGi would be totally frolicking, not ambling like a grammy!
DeleteThe case of the missing Gigi is *almost* solved??! So excited that we have a verified sighting on our hands. I love the perfume free- fair trade hooplah! ha ha!
ReplyDeletehahaha, yes a sighting, Amey thanks for stopping by and keeping up the hope.
Deleteyes the fair trade hooplah ;)
Alas, while the cake looks amahzing, the tale of the missing GiGi still leaves a hole in our blogosphere. I feel...empty.
ReplyDeleteAwww, I bet GiGi will fill that hole in the blogosphere soon, Zsu.
DeleteWith people like Flectcher and Skutch on her trail, GiGi will be found imminently. Or perhaps the smell of cake will bring her back. Melting marshmallow and chocolate is a powerful attractant.
ReplyDeleteI would have to agree with you on Fletcher and Skuch, Andrea.
DeleteYeah GiGi is quite fond of those attractants.
wow it looks so delicious! thanks for this recipe! :D
