Wow reading all these MoFo blogs is making me dizzy. My goal is to read about fifty blogs a day. Today I decided to make it easy on myself. Rather than read all these blogs separately, I decided to read all the blogs in my Blogger reading list as if they were one big blog post. I think this new fangled idea confused me more. Who knew that there was such a thing as an Ethiopian frozen yogurt and that Ethiopian frozen yogurt looks pretty much like pizza with bok choy on it? Why is that woman feeding her baby a blended pine cone on sour dough toast? Oh look there's that baby being used as a centerpiece. What does Freida Kahlo have to do with Day of the Oktoberfest?
It's Wednesday and Psycho Boy aka Crazy Boy aka the husband makes something. It's a good thing since I have to figure out how to comment on that gigantic twisted blog I just read.
Allergy Warning: The following recipe was made in a kitchen by nuts.
Cashew Walnut Maple Butter
1 C roughly chopped walnuts
1 C raw cashews
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp non-alcoholic vanilla
1/8th tsp sea salt
1-2 T pure maple syrup
Process nuts together until smooth like buttah. You can do this in your food processor or one of those fancy pants things everybody has now. Oh yeah the Vita-mix. Add remaining ingredients. Blend. We used a food processor that is scotch taped together. We found this to be very delicious.
Thanks for making something, Crazy boy :)
Sounds delicious and it looks creamy. might I suggest a side of pine cone?
ReplyDeleteSuper digging on that...bread? Biscuit? Sweet cracker?
hahaha. side of pine cone. It's called Judy's bread. I think it's a Northern Cali company though. Ype it's totally diggable ;)
ReplyDeleteYou are SO fancy pants.
ReplyDeleteI am!! I am Fancy Pants. Thank you for affirming that, Megan.

What a great idea, Kittee Bee. MoFo Madlibs is the way to go!
DeleteYour nut warning made me giggle! When I read in Google Reader, I get all confused too. If I really want to focus on a blog, I open it in another tab and re-read. LOL!
ReplyDeleteHaha, VeggieAmanda. I think I'll be opening blogs in their own tabs today.
DeleteBabies probably love pine cones. Babies are terribly confusing to me.
ReplyDeleteCount me among those laughing at the allergy warning ... of course for a moment I was thinking, wait that doesn't matter if you're making it at home ...
Good thing I have no allergies, and that the people in my family who have more food rules than I do are great cooks.
Ha! I think we need to feed some pine cones to some bbies today ;)
DeleteThank you, Candy Beans.
Yay to no allergies and family cooks!
Haha thanks for the allergy warning, but I come to this blog for my daily dose of nuts so it's all fine. :D
ReplyDeleteThank you for the allergy warning. It's always good to know if nuts are involved with your food. Some of us like nuts, especially when they butter us up.
ReplyDeleteYou are welcome, Andrea. teeheeehee ;)
Delete50 blogs - that's so great. I have a goal of about 3 a day, and I'm sorta failing at that. I'm really missing out and must get my head in the game.
ReplyDeleteThanx Jenny. Let's go Jenny.
DeleteHa! Love your allergy warning, Gigi!
ReplyDeleteAnd this looks yummo :) Also, rockmelon = cantaloupe :D
Thanx, Mandee. I love how you come on by to answer my questions. Thank you. Thought that fruit looked familiar.
DeleteGlad you found me, because it's all houses in a twister out there in the MoFo!
ReplyDeleteAdding you to my blog roll, Gigi, you're sure to entertain when the weather's bad.
XOXO
