I am quite mortified by my current relationship to this new appliance. We have been fighting on and off since he moved in. One day I take him out and he's too icy. I turn up the thermostat, and he won't churn properly. Too cold, too hot, where is just right? He's like the three bears of standard appliances. Maybe I need to look at this relationship in a whole new light. After all I do need a blender.
This was supposed to be an award winning pumpkin ice cream. Behold the delicious ice cream maker pumpkin-banana smoothie. And let me tell you the late night addition of banana rocked this smoothee. Who knew?
Even one of my cats liked it. |
1/2 C rice milk cold
1 C canned pumpkin puree (not pumpkin pie)
1/2 C maple syrup
1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp non-alcoholic vanilla
1 tsp allspice
1/2 tsp ginger
1 ripe banana (chunked and fozen)
Blend and enjoy. It's the cat's meow...
i hope you two didn't bleed out on the kitchen floor.
